Tournaments turn trading into something competitive and time-boxed. If you already trade regularly, they add a reason to focus over a defined window.
How tournaments work
A tournament runs for a set period. During that window, entrants are ranked on a leaderboard according to their results, and when it closes the top positions share the prize pool.
The rules for each tournament — the window, the ranking method and the prize structure — are shown on its page before you enter, so you always know what you are entering.
Entering
- Open the tournaments section in your account.
- Look through what is running now and what is coming up.
- Read the rules on the tournament page.
- Enter, then trade during the window.
Tournaments reward consistency over the window rather than one spectacular trade. Traders who place thoughtfully across the whole period tend to finish higher than those chasing a single result.
Why they are worth entering
- A defined window gives structure to your trading rather than leaving it open-ended.
- A leaderboard shows you where you stand against other traders, which is hard to gauge otherwise.
- A prize pool on top of your normal results.
- They are optional. Enter the ones that suit your schedule and skip the rest.
Getting ready
If you are new, spend some time on the demo account first so the mechanics are automatic before you enter a timed competition. Nothing costs you a placing faster than fumbling the interface.
